Debbie is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She received her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Santa Clara University in 2001. At the Youth Services Agency in Watsonville she counseled youth and families and facilitated anger management groups for teens. In a private practice setting she counseled individuals, couples, families and adolescents. At Mt. Hermon Christian Conference Center she offered individual and family counseling as well as facilitating a single parents support group.
Currently, Debbie is an adult probation officer in Santa Clara County working with an intensive mental health caseload. She facilitates a coed and a women's dual diagnosis groups, dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues. Other experience includes work as a juvenile hall counselor for 12 years.
Debbie joins with clients who are emotionally struggling or confronted with life issues that interfere with emotional well being. Her work with clients is based in a person centered and a cognitive behavioral approach.
Debbie is a single parent who lives with her two sons (old enough to drive) in Ben Lomond. Debbie provides counseling at Relational Resources on a sliding scale fee schedule and sees clients on Wednesday evenings, Friday afternoon/evenings and Saturday mornings |
