Hilary uses a collaborative and strengths-based approach to therapy. With empathy and compassion, Hilary creates a safe environment for healing and growth. She enjoys facilitating steps toward achieving more satisfying relationships, improving intimacy and communication, and attending to the holistic well being of her clients.
Hilary has experience working with a variety of issues including: depression; anxiety; life transition; grief and loss; fostering healthy relationships; communication and conflict resolution. Hilary has experience working in a private practice setting with individuals, couples and families. She has also worked in community counseling settings with at-risk adolescents.
Hilary received her MA in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University/Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. She lives in Aptos with her husband and two children.
