Donelyn has been a licensed Marriage, Family therapist since 1987. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Westmont College and an M.A. in Marriage, Family, Child Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. Donelyn has worked in the counseling field since 1973, working with juvenile delinquents and their families, licensing and placing children in Foster homes, directing a low-cost counseling clinic and counseling adults, adolescents and children with a variety of clinical issues. Presently she is a clinical supervisor with Advent Group Ministries, a Christian Social Service agency, overseeing the work of clinical trainees and interns. She also is adjunct faculty with Western seminary, teaching Clinical Foundations and Child and Adolescent Therapy. Additionally she is a co-owner of Relational Resources, where she maintains her private practice, seeing clients in Aptos and Felton. Donelyn specializes in integrating psychological and spiritual health and is also has advanced training in EMDR.

Earl
E. White, M.A., M.F.T.
Earl
has been a licensed Marriage, Family, Child therapist
since 1968. He has a B.A. in Physical Education, an M.A.
in Special Education, and several years postgraduate study
in Psychology. He has worked in the field of education
as a teacher, counselor, and school psychologist for thirty
years. He is the author of several books for parents,
teachers and Christians on self-esteem and resilient relationships.
Earl works with individuals, couples and families, including
ages that range from early childhood to the “golden
years”. He particularly enjoys working on recovery
from dysfunctional experiences, healing of traumatic memories
and building self-esteem. Earl is a co-owner/associate
and maintains his private practice at Relational Resources.
Earl, his wife Gayle, and their two sons have called Capitola
home since 1966. Earl has taught lay counselor training
classes, seminars for teachers and counselors, facilitates
groups and speaks at retreats and seminars.
Shirley
Conly, M.A., M.F.T.
Shirley
is a licensed Marriage, Family, Child Counselor. She has
a B.A. in Child Development and Developmental Psychology
from Chico State University and an M.A. in Marriage, Family
and Child Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. Shirley
also holds a multiple subjects teaching credential form
San Francisco State University and enjoys teaching parenting
classes. Shirley has worked with foster care and group
homes and counsels individuals, couples and families.
She deals with most clinical issues in therapy and specializes
relationships, abuse (sexual, spiritual, physical, etc.),
parent-child issues, grieving and dissociative disorders.
Shirley is a co-owner/associate and maintains her private
practice at Relational Resources.
Shirley, her husband Michael, and their daughter make
their home in Watsonville. Shirley has lived in Santa
Cruz County since 1979. She has taught lay counselor training
classes, facilitates groups and speaks at seminars and
retreats.
Bill
Winings, M.A., M.F.T.
Bill
is a licensed Marriage, Family, Child Counselor. He has
a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Counseling, both from
the University of San Francisco. Bill has been teaching
classes for parents, foster parents and group home staff
through churches, adult ed., and Cabrillo College since
the mid 1970’s. He designed and implemented an inpatient
and outpatient chemical dependency treatment program and
has served as a consultant to recovery centers. He deals
with most clinical issues in therapy and specializes in
relationships, parent-child issues, personal and spiritual
growth and problems with managing emotions (depression,
anxiety, anger, etc.). Bill is an associate and maintains
his private practice at Relational Resources.
Bill and his wife Rita, who make Santa Cruz their home,
have experienced nearly every form of parenthood: they
were foster parents and group home directors for 14 years,
and have been legal guardians and adoptive parents. They
even have one of their own! Bill also facilitates groups
and speaks at seminars and retreats.
